Congratulations Sister Nora

On May 13, 2026, we joyfully celebrated Sister Nora Ruiz’ Renewal of of her Temporary Vows, for two years, as a Sister of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate in Saint Theresa’s Church in San Benito, TX. 

In the name of the Congregation and the Church, Sr. Bernadette (Bernie) Barrett , received Nora’s vows,  and Father Joe M. Villalon, Pastor of Saint Theresa’s Church also witnessed Sister Nora’s renewal of vows.

Four of our Sisters traveled from San Antonio to San Benito to be present for the special occasion. Sisters included Sisters Bernie Barrett, Congregational Leader, Loretta Armand, Formation Director, Geraldine Klein, a member of the Formation Community and Miriam Mitchell, Vocation Director.

Following the simple ceremony during morning Mass, members of Saint Theresa’s Parish hosted a wonderful breakfast, for all attending the Mass, in honor of Sister Nora.
